Mac OS X Microsoft Entourage

  1. Open Entourage.

2. Go to the Tools Menu and select Accounts

 

 

  5.  When the Account Setup Assistant window appears select Configure account manually
 

  7.   The New Account window will appear.
      Set the Account type to POP and click OK
 


 

  8.  On the Account Settings tab enter the information as it appears in the example
      below.
 

  Account name: A label for this account, for example your e-mail address name

Name: You name as you would like it to appear on messages you send

Email Address: Your e-mail address

Account ID: The name portion of your e-mail address (everything before @student.palomar.edu) all lowercase

POP Server: Type in your incoming e-mail server (click here to find your incoming e-mail server)

Password: Type in your password if you would like Entourage to remember it for you. Otherwise it will prompt you every time you check your mail

SMTP Server:Type in your outgoing e-mail server (click here to find your outgoing e-mail server)

  9. Click on the Options tab of the Edit Account window
    Make sure that Leave a copy of each message on the server is has a check mark and click OK
